- Combine the milk, vanilla extract, and sugar in a measuring cup or small bowl. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely, and the mixture is smooth and fragrant.
- Pour the vanilla milk mixture into the blender. Add the ice cubes on top.
- Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed for about 30-40 seconds, until the mixture is thick, slushy, and icy with a smooth consistency.
- Stop the blender and check the texture; if it’s too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly to loosen it. If too runny, blend a few more seconds.
- Pour the slushie into glasses, allowing the icy crystals to shimmer in the light. Garnish with a vanilla bean pod or a sprinkle of cocoa powder if desired.
- Serve immediately with a straw or spoon, enjoying the refreshing, icy texture and fragrant vanilla aroma.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of cinnamon or top with whipped cream. Make sure to chill the ingredients beforehand for a better texture.
